My wonderful journey in the world of sculpting on marble started from my admiration and observation for this art while I was visiting arcaelogical sites and museums. I felt that my gaze and toughts were attracted by this beautiful art and the way it views things and situations.
The moment I decided that I want to work as a sculptor was when I met and observed the work of a professional sculptor which later became my mentor. That was the moment I realised that sculpting in marble would be the medium to imprint my thoughts and my deepest feelings.
In this moment I am standing here as an empirical sculptor with great passion for the art of sculpting the precious material that the marble is, in order to create representations of light and shadow.
My work is inspired by the Greek mythology, the Greek culture, the stories I grew up with and most of all "Love".
